We believe great podcasts should feel like conversations you never want to end

Our approach combines archival research, technical precision, and deep cultural understanding to produce audio experiences that resonate long after the episode ends.

How we started

Five years ago, we noticed a pattern. Music podcasts were either overly academic or superficially entertainment-focused. Nobody was bridging the gap between rigorous research and accessible storytelling.

Our founder spent a decade working in radio documentary production, specializing in British cultural history. After producing over 200 episodes for various platforms, the limitations of generic production approaches became clear.

We established our studio with one principle: every musical movement deserves to be documented with the same care that went into creating the music itself.

What guides our work

Research integrity

We verify every claim. Source rare recordings. Interview primary sources. Your podcast won't rely on recycled Wikipedia entries or surface-level research.

Technical excellence

Audio quality shapes listener experience. We maintain broadcast standards across recording, editing, and mastering while preserving the authentic character of archival material.

Cultural authenticity

British music culture is complex and regionally specific. We understand the difference between Manchester and Liverpool sounds, between first-wave and second-wave punk.

Our production philosophy

Every project begins with listening. Not just to music, but to the cultural context that shaped it. We spend weeks in archives before recording a single word.

Our team includes former music journalists, sound designers who've worked on award-winning documentaries, and researchers with specialized knowledge of British music movements.

We don't follow templates. Each podcast receives a custom production approach based on its specific subject matter and target audience.
